I heard from my dealer that MY2014 will be a major facelift. taking a lot of cues from VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne....

- Facelift interior especially around the NAV screen area (possible popup)
- Lighter weight.. almost 800LB less
- New MMI with input like the ones in A7
- Hybrid moel

that's all i heard....

I have been scouring the internet and haven't found any further information. Most notably absent, is an ETA. Rumors that it may debut at the Frankfurt auto show in mid-Sept.

I am VERY interested in the 2014 Q7 and it can't get here soon enough. I was thinking of replacing my '05 Volvo V70R with the newly released 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel, but after test driving a 2012 Q7 and comparing it to my brother's 2012 Jeep, I have decided to wait for the 2014 Q7 TDI. It's going to be a LOOONNG year.

What did you not like about the 2012 Q7?

Nothing, though it didn't have the air suspension which I would like for towing and off-roading. I am tempted to order up a new 2013, but decided that if I'm spending that much money I might as well wait for the 2014 redesign since it looks like it will be a pretty substantial change. I plan on keeping the car a long time, so I don't want to get the outgoing version when so many changes are on the horizon.

I'm also eagerly awaiting the redesign.

Although there's some threads I read that indicates MY14 for Europe, and we get it as MY15, in CY14. That means another year of waiting, oh the pain.

We're ready for another new car (not replacing our '10 TDI), wife wants another Q7.

We replaced our 2005 V70R with a 2013 Q7 S Line. I too wanted to wait for the next-gen model, but the Volvo started falling apart like mad and it seemed that the new model may be at least two years out.

You're going to love the Q7. I can't believe how much more comfortable it is, especially on long trips, without giving up any straight line performance and little in the curves.

Nooooo. If that were to be true, I'd order a 2013 tomorrow... I can wait 1 year, but not 2 more.
I wish we could have some official information, though I guess they might have trouble selling the 2013's if the 2014's were definitely known to be a complete redesign.

Where did you read it would be a MY2015 for the US?

Will be nice to see a redesign. Just bought a 2013 Q7 TDI because when I talked to the dealership back in September, they did not think there was going to be any major redesign for a couple of years, and I did not want to wait that long. No regrets - I am enjoying the ride!
