I’m having this same exact issue. How much did it cost you to repair?

The cost is relative to your specific model year, engine, and mounting location of the HPFP, as well as where you source parts from and have the work done. The HPFP itself isn't inexpensive, regardless, unless you buy a cheap knock-off part from China...not the best idea, but it's also not a part you want to go source from an Audi dealership or have them swap for you, unless you just like being taken advantage of and overpaying significantly for the repair. The exact same part is sold by the OEM parts supplier, Bosch, and it is widely used in the automotive industry.

IIRC, the 4L Q7 series all use the same HPFP (Bosch CP4), or perhaps even two HPFPs depending on the engine, but be sure to look up your model year/engine and do a bit of research via a search engine as well...there are parts sites, videos, and many other archival threads like this one to help you find your way, etc. If you don't DIY at all, then cost equates to the shop doing the work for you/their labor rate, and whether they will allow you to source the part(s) yourself or not, etc. Unfortunately, parts are also a source of profit to repair shops, so you won't always have that option, but doesn't hurt to ask.
