My 2012 came with the Pirelli Scorpions. They seem great so far, especially for the price.

Thank you, they look great.

how's the performance? I like it that's all season tire, just worry about thread warranty.
my stock OEM only last about 25K miles......

Eggy, you might have a look thru Tire Rack's website. You can call up your vehicle and find the UTQG ratings and other attributes including reviews by owners for many different tires.

Also, you can check in with Gary...he's the sales person with Audi experience that handles this forum.

Found mix reviews on these... someone mentioned to stay away from Bridgestone but that's the one TireRack recommends.

Firestone Destination ST
Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico (some 2011 came with these tires)
Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400
Michelin Latitude Tour HP

any recommendations base on the ones above? Discounttire recommends Michelin Latitude & Bridgestone Dueler and they don't sell Pirelli Scorpion.....

tirerack recommends Bridgestone over Pirelli......

too complicated

LOL, yeah, it always seems to be.

FWIW, that Pirelli Scorpion is fitted to a lot of cars as OE. It looks like the UTQG rating is quite good compared to the others.

Maybe you should chat with Gary for a few mins and get the low-down.

I ran these Kumho Ecsta STX tires on a Cadillac Escalade, and they were quite good, especially for the price.

At 27,500 miles I put on Yokohama Parada Spec-X and am extremely pleased. I have since driven 2500 mostly Interstate miles, and they are some of the smoothest and quietest tires I've had - much better than the factory Goodyears!

Stock Dueler H/L 400's on my 2011. Stay away from these! Very noisy. I tried to get the dealership or AoA to swap them out, but no dice.

I can't believe what crappy cheap tires Audi puts on a top of the line Q7. It's ridiculous.

It finally snowed in Chicago and the Firestone Destination ST handled great. It was the first time since the A4 I felt sure footed in snow. I thought it was the Q7 but it seems it was the Dueler 400 tires. What a terrible tire. With the ST tires on the Q7 it feels like I am driving a vehicle.
