Just picked up a 2008 q7 s
Car seems great, and looks good. Tomorrow it's getting some new shoes because the previous owner had cheap tires on it. Other than that, all good.
I do have a few questions:
How do I know if the car has Bluetooth?
If it does, can I stream audio?
The Bose system is amazing - is there not a normal aux input?
I'm at 40k miles - anything to know or be aware of?
Last question - is there an ecu chip upgrade? I chipped my a4 years ago, and the kid in me wants to do it to the q7 of there is a noticeable difference???
It's good to be back after having a TL, TL-S, and an RL
Thanks in advance for sharing!

Very nice.
For Bluetooth. Go into TEL, press SETTINGS, click on TELEPHONE SETTINGS, this should bring up Bluetooth Options. About streaming , I don't know
I think there is no Aux input even on Bose at that model year, I think it was only on AMI which is late 09, to the best of my knowledge, and wait to be corrected

Tuning, I can only comment on TDI, I have Bluefin fitted from SuperChips which gives a noticeable difference, and had a Tuning box on my prev Allroad 3.0 TDI, giving similar results, but I think you are talking about Petrol

Thanks for the info.
I can see the Bluetooth settings, but it doesn't give me a matching/pairing option. Any ideas?
Checked out the chip- doing my research

I assume you then see the "BT Pin" and "Remove Devices". As far as I can remember pairing was done via the phone, not the MMI control. Try pairing and your phone should pick up the Audi Bluetooth, then will ask for the Pin, that's its as I recall. I assume the Audi BT is on all the time waiting for something to try and pair with it

Turn ignition on but no start engine. Within the first 30 seconds you must set your phone to search for devices/connections after that the Audi will stop sending signal if no device is present.
To retry you must pull the key and start from scratch.
