Default Interior Color Question

I am placing an order for the Q7 Premium with the Lava Gray exterior, but I am trying to decide between espresso brown and black. Would those who have received their Q7s with espresso brown interior let me know if it is a better choice than the black interior? That is, do any of you wish that you had ordered the black interior instead? Also, on the espresso brown interior, which parts are brown (only the seats, center console, and door inserts?). Are the third row seats brown as well? What color is the headliner/top interior, steering wheel, dashboard, carpets, and the cargo area carpet? Finally, how does the tamo wood look? Is it too dark? Does anybody know if Audi is selling the shifter **** in tamo wood?

everything is is black. the headliner is silver. the carpet is black.
the steats and armrest are brown, the inserts on the doors are brown.

espresso is not everyones cup of tea haha.
but it does look good. very earthy.
looks amazing with lava.

the tamo is very very dark, but looks oh so nice with the espresso.
its the only color i can see it working with.

if you want to hold the resale get black, if you want something that is totally different from any car out there get espresso. but thats why your getting a Q7. enjoy.

I agree. The Espresso totally grew on me. At first I thought it was too dark...and actually looks black in low light/night. Most who've beenin the car oogle over the dark brown/dark chocolate color. Black just doesn't do it for me, in any car. I've always had light gray, bone or beige interiors so, this dark color is definately a departure for me and I like it!

I was also torn between the black and lava gray. I've always owned black cars but, never metalic blacks (not real keen on metalic black). The pearl effect on the black makes it almost look like a VERY dark gray/black but, not as gray as the Lava. The lava is very rich and I may order that when the V8 or V10 TDI comes out in a year or so...unless of course a solid black is available. The Lava and Espresso would be a GREAT combination!

We have Lava with Espresso. Wouldn't change it for the world. The espresso is very deep and rich - the seats (all rows), door trim, and center console are all espresso brown. The dash, carpet, and just about everything else (except the headliner) is black. The headliner is limestone gray. The combination looks very good and very unique. And yes, the tamo is very cool.

If it were available how would you asess the Expresso int with Sycamore Green ext color combo? A member posred pics of a Sycamore avaliable on Ebay and I was truly shocked at how good that exterior looked on the Q7, even with the "stipper shoes" 20 inch wheels.

You can not get Sycamore with Espresso. Not an Audi allowable combo.

I'm surprised by how many people on here are opting for the Espresso interior. It would be my first choice with the phantom black. My first A6 was a 1998 in Volcano Black, which is a black metallic, with maroon interior, which I loved - seats and door panels in a dark red and everything else was black. Cars in the 70s and 80s gave you a lot of interior choices other than the charcoal, beige or gray of everything on the road today.
