Never done it myself, although, there have been several cases completed already. Have you tried Search?

You asked this very recently! Why did you not just explain in more detail on that thread exactly what is your problem.

OR as I say in almost every reply - check out the spreadsheet. This time in the DIY section.

It depends on which OEM headlights have you got fitted.

Kufatec part for Audi Q7 Model year 2009
Adaptor for Halogen OEM is 38929-1 (Only one adaptor cable is needed)
Adaptor for Xenon OEM is 38929 (Only one adaptor cable is needed)

The adaptor they supplied you was for a 2009 Audi A6 4F

Yes.

The Part numbers I gave you are correct Kufatec parts for 2009 Q7 conversion. You must first establish (find out) which bulbs are in your car now or were the original type. Then choose the corresponding part from Kufatec.
You are using the adaptor cable as opposed to converting the control unit to the newer type so it is just plug and go.

Oversea OEM doesnt matter it is just important that you use the cable that matches your original bulb type.

No I did not do the install.

Yes but the small print at the bottom of the page on Kufatec Control Unit page states not suitable for USA so I dont know where that leaves you.
