Default having a tough time paying for an item won on ebay germany. what's a safe way to pay for

item. No paypal. so I'm trying to communicate with a german seller who speaks no english. He gave me some numbers : konto: (numbers)
blznumbers)
Volksbank Rems Murr

but I don't know what this means. Is this a bank account number. is this safe to pay this way. anything would help. German anyone.?

Konto = account
BLZ = Bankleitzahl (bank number).
These two plus the name should be enough for an electronic funds transfer (widely used in Germany and not so much in the US).

Either way, once you make the payment the money's gone and to my knowledge you have none of the protections afforded by a credit card payment. If you have reasons to believe this may be a less than very honest seller, don't send a payment this way and insist on something like paypal.

seller has 100% feedback. but you're right about it being risky.
