Default Hail damage

Has any one had hail damage on their Q7. I have a little bit on my hood and a few around the car. Not bad , I'm going to had one of those dentless guys look at it. Just wondering how hard the steal panels on these cars are to work on?? It's not bad but if you really look you can see the pin dents here and there. took a pretty good hail storm. hail the size of quarters.. All my audi fared pretty well.

I believe the hood and rear lid are both aluminum.

You guys beat me too it.

Make sure the dent guys KNOW Aluminum. It's a different process. Al is softer, unless the dent is big then it's actually stronger than the metal around it. It's a wild alloy... just make sure they have REAL experience with it.

Hi,
Where you able to get this fixed? I 2 day old 2012 Q7 got hit with a freak golf size hail storm in NY, just like you not much damage (can't really tell unless you start looking for them) But enough for me to loose sleep over. Let me know, I'm going to a body shop Friday

Yes, I had a guy that does paintless repair do my whole car for $400. Did a great job, even garranteed if i found another mark he'd fix it for nothing. But I made a mistake and told him my deductable was $500. I bet I could have gotten cheaper. Most dealers pay this guys $100 for each car they do. Took him about hour and 1/2 to do the whole car. try and find one of these guys because the shops do thesame thing and add to the price.

where did you get that number? nyc dealer/paintless dent repair shops charge anywhere from 125-175 per panel, not per car. doesnt matter if the panel has 1 dent or 10 dents it is the same price.

This guy normally charges $100 per panel, but I didn't have a lot of damage so he did the car for $400. He needed to get just under my $500 deductable to get the job. This isn't NYC, Syracuse area and this guy lives in the country. Was very good. I'd recommend him. He does cars for a few dealers around here.
