Default Goodyear LS2 Tires, Looking for Feedback.

I noticed on my (just arrived) Q7 has the Goodyear LS2 tires. Anybody else have the same tire? If so, do you like it? The Tire Rack didn't have stellar reviews but there were only 4-5 postings.

Regards,
NHman

Default My Q7 is also new but I have the Eagle LS and not LS2's. (20" S-line)

I haven't driven a Q7 on anything else so I don't have a comparison but I've had sports cars and sports sedans on very expensive tires and so far I'm impressed with how the Q7 handles for a car this size.

I also read some of the reviews on this tire and I think it's important to note what vehicle their driving and size. To have them on a sedan or coupe and compare them to a higher performance tire doesn't apply to the application on a Q7.

I did find it interesting that some reviewers at tirerack.com and epinions got 33k and 45k out of them. I was more concerned that some reviewers had to replace them early for bulges.

Correction: I checked after my wife got home and they are LS2's. (that "2" is tiny on the tire!)

Yes, the "2" is small. What do you think of the tires?

Default For what it is I'm pretty happy with it.

My previous SUV had big GY Wranglers which were loud and mushy so this is a different beast. I do think it handles better than the non s-line Q7's I test drove on 18's and 20's but I don't remember which tires those had.

It does seem a little loud on grooved concrete freeways but it's really smooth and quiet on blacktop roads.
