Default Camshaft Sensors

I had a local independent shop run a scan on the 2007 audi q7 and they indicated camshaft timing sensor was causing engine light to show. Since parts cost are relatively cheap I figured on replacing both sensors.
Looks like a pretty simple parts swap other than the location of the sensor.
Any issues to be aware of?

Be aware that camshaft timing can be off due to timing chain tensioner wear. THAT is not cheap. Good luck. Hopefully it IS just a bad sensor. Did they tell you the code?

It would be nice to know the code - if the sensors don't fix the problem you may have your answer as JP mentions above.
