I have an 09 that I've had since it was brand new. It currently has 225,000 miles. The engine has been reliable. Oil and filter was religiously changed every 5k miles. The only major issue its had was ECU failure.

The ECU located in the engine compartment near the windshield on the passenger side? On mine the plastic clips broke so I zip tied into position and covered it with plastic to prevent it from getting wet.

The ECU is on the far passenger side of the raintray. If you haven't recently you really should ensure its free of leaves. The drain holes get stopped up and can cause a number of issues.

Yes, also check the clips holding the ECU in place mine were broken
