Dynamic lowers the car and gives you are firm ride. The adjustment you experience at the lights is the car automatically leveling itself.

Automatic basically switches between dynamic and comfort and respective height depending upon speed of the car and probably how much steering input you are giving it.

Personally, I used to originally drive only in dynamic and then i switched to manually changing between comfort and dynamic.

Nowadays I mostly keep it in automatic, it actually saves you the hassle of picking a softer ride as you slow down and when you are running high speed, its drops like dynamic anyway (albeit with a slightly softer ride).

If i want to drive the car like i stole it, dynamic is the only option and there is no doubt, air suspension should be standard and is vital for this car, im sorry for those who dont have it.

When tranny in sport mode and suspension in dynamic, it is great. This is a great vehicle to drive!

Is there a VAG-COM tweak to get it to stay at the lower settings of dynamic, according to the manual over 80 it drops and then again over 100 mph, in my neck of the woods those speeds are just crazy, can you lower those speeds by 20 or 30 mph or something?

I suspect that it would be possible, although, may compromise the quality of the ride, considering the amount of possible steering increases at lower speeds and you *might* rub a wheel if its too low (and you are running on 21 inches)

In any case, you get the same drop while riding in automatic too and you can really feel the stability improve once it drops to its lowest setting.

Yes, the speeds are high although, 125mph feels like a natural cruising speed for my Q7 (if you can get away with it).

The VAG-COM tweak will keep it in dynamic mode at all speeds.
