I believe black is the only option with the S Line package. I have a new 2012 in that combo and love it.

I got mine in beige and I'm happy. You end up with too much black inside which makes it dull.

I have a 2011 white exterior and espresso brown interior. Never thought I would like it but I do. More importantly my wife LOVES it! She was always a black interior fan. You should check and see if your local dealer has a car on the lot with that interior.

Of course if it was up to you, it would be Ferarri Red, without Isofix fixing points and the 3rd row seats. The interior would not matter as long as it does not show high heel marks on the roof lining

Here is my take on your dilemma:

Consider the fact that Q7 is very minimalistic and to the point (yet to be determined though, the Q that is )

Let consider Mr and Mrs Smith. Quite bland - a clue to the Q?, however if you look at the underlying dyanamic of Mr and Mrs Smith you would find Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Adds more glamour now, does it not ?


By comparison, you have the equivalent consideration to choose from.

Clacier White and Black
=
Angeline Jolie and Jimbo




Glacier White and Cardamom Beige
=
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt



That sound better now, does it not ?


If you had, for example a choice of black like say, "Dark moon rising black", "Tire polish black", Carl Sagan Black hole black", Computer cable black", or even "Spotted silver antracite black", then you could find a glamorous match.

Truth be told, consider going to the Audi.com website and do some simulation there, to see what you think. If not you'll end up with Kim Kardashian moving into Wisteria lane. And that is something I cannot live with.


Do not hold back.... Get that Q7. If you or the "we" does not like the colour, you can always pimp the ride. Just get it, you will love it !!!

Do NOT get Glacier White S Line with Beige! I have it and love it and want less of the white ones on the road!


Jokes aside, I wanted the Glacier White exterior and the wife ONLY Cardamom interior - we got it and absolutely LOVE IT - hottest color combo. I always get compliments on how hot the car looks.

Plus... I don't know if you are going to maintain the paint yourself, but the white is the easiest color to wax.

Whenever you get it - ENJOY! I know you will.
