I am picking up my 2008 SLine from Bremerhaven GE on Tuesday. I will post the results because I want the voice control. I dont care much about the heated steering wheel or heated rear but I am curious too. I ordered mine before the 2008 guides came out and with the packages changing so much I am
a little worried. I ordered the 4.2 premium sline w/ 21 inch rims, sky system, upgraded cricket leather, 6 seater config, rear airbags. I would have ordered the tech package if I had known it was a standalone option in 08. I liked the option package. BTW-- was suppose to pick it up tomorrow but the trailer driver punctured my tire removing it from the rig. Go figure.

My Options were
4.2 Premium
SLine with 21 inch RIMS *tires are really big
sky system
upgraded cricket leather
6 seater configuration

No heated steering wheel, no rear heated seats, and no voice control option. Also, the AMI doesnt come with cables.

disappointed so much was removed from the premium. why call it premium.

I have a 4.2 premium S-Line coming with anticipated delivery the last week of this month. I contacted my dealer today after reading your message. According to him the S-Line 3 spoke steering wheel with the paddle shifters is not compatible with the heated steering wheel option. In regards to the voice control he informed me that since "I ordered" the optional technology package I should be getting both voice control and Audi side assist. I will not be getting the new lane assist with the Technoogy package since this is not available until August production and mine was built in July.
