I'm in the market for a Q7, but the local dealership told me that the 4.2 for 2009 model year no longer has Sline available unless you custom order it... any one else hear something similar?

I'd sell you an S-line but I just sold our 4.2. We have a Daytona Gray 4.2 in demo service now. Should get it back with 3000 miles or so but less than 500 on the wheels...it has rims on it now.

'09 4.2 w/ Sline's are widely available at the dealerships. My local one had 10-15 sitting on the lot not moving. I would suggest checking around since lots of dealers would be happy to move one of their lot.

AofC_RR is correct that the 21" wheels are not available currently due to a manufacturer supply problem.

since they're pretty small, I wouldn't be surprised. They always stock the lower-end base models, and some 4.2s are there. At max, they have about 5 Q7s at a time. We were lucky to find a decently loaded one here.

Ask the dealer to do a nationwide search. If not, you might want to order it to your specs
