of course, i jinxed myself.... as it was too good to be true.

the site www.audipartssuperstore.com had it advertised at $53.20. and this morning i got an email saying that it was a typo and should be $130.34. WTF?! it looks like they also corrected the price on their website.

i call to complain and after going back and forth, they refused to honor the typo on the website. we ended up settling at $100 even.

i guess at the end of the day, you'll have to factor in about $130 to the cost of the running boards. OR you could just forget the jack and i'm sure AAA or audi roadside would have the backup jack? personally, i want it for peace of mind.

Is your model an s line? And has anyone tried to put on a s line? Romik says will not fit s line, but we all know these forums can prove otherwise. Well?

BUMP for a revival!

Just picked up a 2014 S-Line Q7 and would love to add the powder-coated Romik boards. However - similar to what's stated above, the sales rep at Romik told me these will not work on an S-line and they have no ideas of a work around. All the research I've been doing has come up with the same conclusion.

Did anyone ever find a way seeing how this thread is a few years old?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!!

I'm a dealer for Romik and I've sold quite a few of these in the past, and I know it says they won't fit the S line, but who knows if that's really true. I've seen in the past manufacturers saying thigns like this, and then the item fits. Is there any reason you think they wouldn't? What's different in that area where they mount?

That was my main question to the rep at Romik as well as RunningBoard Warehouse. They both had no further info explaining why, other than just "no, sorry". The Romik guy said something about a special "body-kit" on the S-Line; when I pushed further - he simply said he does not know.

I've been reading things about a tow package causing some hesitation due to the brackets, but I never mentioned to them I had that as well.
