Default POWER STOP Rotor and Brake kit

Hi All,

Not wanting to kick off a drilled/slotted vs plain rotor debate here, but I am wondering if any one has gone with this brand for their Q7 and what your experience has been ?

So far, i have read reviews on other forums saying these work great and are highly recommended, They are also one of the lowest priced rotor/brake Kits I have found.

Any feedback/opinions on them ?

I almost pulled the trigger on this set-up as well... So if anyone has any pictures of their brake set-up that would really help?

I installed the drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads on my Pontiac daily driver last Saturday. The parts appear to be good to very good. The kit comes with a detailed set of installation instructions and a good bedding in process.

I would buy them again.

Default Powerstop Brake Kit @ Amazon

Amazon also has the Powerstop K4500 kits for $487 w/Free shipping.

Rockauto.com has it for $451, but $50 shipping, but they also have a $15 mail in rebate.

I'm debating going with this kit, or doing Hawk LTS pads with Adams dimpled/slotted rotors. Any thoughts?

thats a bit expensive, my brother got one kit on Monday for a Q7 at his shop for $400 usd shipped i asked him yesterday. He has in the invoice the following info:
Kit 4500

Pads Front: 16-977
Pads Rear: 16-978

Rotors:
Front: EBR822XL, EBR823XR
Rear: EBR1013XL, EBR1013XR

He says this is the best kit for the money around for Audi, BMW, MB and Porsche. I think he knows the owner from SEMA show.

Here ya go!

They look great, barely any brake dust and I no longer have the annoying brake squeal. so I am super happy with them so far.
