Mmi screen out

My screen went out on my 2008 q7 but It lights up upon starting.Any suggestions on where to start?

That will have to be scanned to know more. Either Dealer or Vag Com VCDS. We had a 2006 A6 and a beverage spill in the MMI controls made the screen go black and or boot up repeatedly. A new control unit fixed that. (That glass of iced tea cost about $1000.)
