Default New to Audi

Hi Members, I contemplating a Audi Q7 purchase. I'm a long time BMW X5 driver and would like to move to Audi. Any suggestions on a good year for a CPO model. I considering a 2013 Q7 TDI Prestige. Suggestions on what to stay away from? Thanks for the help.

Welcome. You'd be just fine with a '13 TDI Prestige. More than fine, actually.

Nothing to avoid really - just chose one that fits what you are looking for.
I love the keyless but the earlier door handles are not so reliable in very wet weather, to me it is still worth the hassle though. Rear pano roof can leak but on later cars this should all be OK and modified.

Go for the air suspension if you can find a Q7 with it.
Its the one feature I really wish mine had.

I second that, although I don't think there are any Q7's in the UK which are metal sprung, I think all ours are air.
Compared to my wife's Touareg which we sold last year, the Q has a far better ride quality.

I have a S-Line prestige 2013 and absolutely love it. Love the sound of the engine and that added horsepower. Would definitely recommend the S-Line Prestige but I bet the TDI is just as well. Either way can't go wrong with Audi's,best vehicles in the world!

+1

I've had an allroad, a Touareg, and a Q7 now - all with the air suspension. Definitely worth it in my opinion. It allows the car to be comfortable and smooth when you want it, or sporty and tight when you want that.

If you plan to keep the Q7 past CPO warranty, stay away from Air Suspension. My 2 cents.
