Default Black out or no?

Just looking for some opinions on whether I should black out the rims on my 2-13' Q7, I'd be using plastidip and then a glossifier so the end result wojuld be shiny black rims, let me kno whether u think tht'd look good or if I'm crazy for thinking this and should not go tht route!

I would say 'no' as it would make your wheels disappear... unless that is the look you are going for. Are those 18" or 20" wheels on there now? There seems to be quite a lot of sidewall for a 20" wheel.

If you decide to go all black on the wheels, do it right and black out the window trim, tint the head lights, tail lights, and whatever else isn't already black. Otherwise, I'd powder coat them all one color such as a dark gray or gun metal and add some spacers. Just my $.02. If you want to see what it'd be like to have them all one color, buy some plasti-dip (lots of colors to choose from) , spray one of the wheels and make a decision. If you don't like it, the plasti-dip literally peels right off. Good luck and post some pics when you're done with it.

save your money and put it towards buying different wheels and tires.

Yeah if I'm going to do it, I'm going to use plastidip first to test it out. I don't really feel the black window trim and tinted tail lights etc but u brought up an excellent idea with the different colors( I'm going to look into not black but dark greyish). Thanks for the advice!

As for rims I'm looking into OEMS and blacking those out but as far as tire size and brand I'm more than happy!
