MMI upgrade?

hello, is it worth getting an MMI upgrade KIT, i see them on ebay for like $25.

I notice that some pics show Google in the lower right. Are there 2 models of MMI in the 2014 Q7? Or is the Google maps only available with those cars that have the cell Sim card slot?
