So I've got an iPhone 5 and it seems to work fine on the new 2013 Q7 I just bought, but I'm kinda tired of Apple and was thinking of getting an Android phone like the HTC One X+ on ATT, or the LG. Anyone using these phones and how does it work with the MMI vs the Iphone5 ?
I read where the HTC had some BT issues on some cars, so wasn't sure if I wanted to take a chance with it and have it not work.

I used an LG Aly (Android) with my Q7 for 2 years Some times I would have issues where it would not connect to the MMI via BT. This would happen every 2 to 3 months. I would have to go inte the phone setting and connect manuely. Also ringtones on the Aly would not play on the MMI.

I have a Motorola Android Razr Maxx and have used with the 2010 and 2013 Q7's and have had no real issues connects with BT and works with MMI and voice conmmands for calling and directory lookup.

Has anyone figured out how to upload a Contact Picture into the MMI to display with your Phone Contacts?
There seems to be a black Icon where a pic might be.
I've searched but no luck

don't bother with the LG. I have the LG Mytouch and it is by far THE worst phone I have ever owned . it works most of teh time in the Q7 but I would never recommend it to anyone
