Default Painting brake calipers

This has been a project I've been wanting to get done for months...and now it's finished! I had the house to myself for several weeks, so finally got the brake calipers on all three of my rides ('00 BMW M Roadster, '06 A6 4.2, '07 Q7 4.2 S-Line) painted with G2 brake caliper kits.

Here are some photos of the Q7 process.

Very cool. More Porsche than Audi (which isn't a bad thing). Nice job.

Default Looks great!

How many coats did you put on? How long did it take for the paint to dry?

It only took 2 coats. I let the 1st coat dry for 1 hour, the second for 2 hours before putting the wheels back on.

Default quick question

looks great!

on another note was wondering where you found the central jack placement for the jack since it doesn't say in the manual. i see you jacked the entire car onto jack stands so i assumed you jacked the front centrally placed 2 jack stands and then the same for the back.

i did mine also but opted for black.

and now i have EBC yellowstuff pads fitted, it looks pretty damn smart.

the yellow and black together really look the business.

i also got new EBC grooved rotors fitted which have a black coating on the hub.
