Thanks, NABS4. I thought so, and believe I have already installed that, but it was a very long time ago (don't have the files any more, but the directory I created to land them into was created in June of 2018), and on our recent road trip found quite a few discrepancies in the map data. Of course, all GPS maps have a similar problem of outdated data, was just hoping that Audi was going to actually ship updates in a more timely fashion. If 2018/2019 is the most recent update, then I will likely just shift to google or apple maps using CarPlay. With the advent of technologies like CarPlay, the in vehicle GPS is even more frustrating. Spent quite a bit of time lobbying my last auto maker (MB) to at least TRY to keep up with GPS vendors like Garmin, but in the end it was just simpler to buy a new Garmin (and cheaper) with lifetime map updates every quarter than to pay an auto manufacturer to install maps every couple of years. The updates every quarter should have been something Audi could manage, as most of the actual mapping data comes from pretty much the same source...

Would also like some way of being notified when they DO finally issue an update, but......

This says that an update popped up for the 2018 maps around the end of Dec 2017, but I wonder if that's just with an Audi Connect subscription:

The 2018 update came out late December 2017. The 2018/2019 update came out June 2018. I believe the next update should be called "2019" and, if it sticks to the schedule of every 6 months, should be out very soon.
