Audi Canada told me a few weeks ago that it would be this week so let’s see if that happens or not. And that they are going directly to the mid year update for some reason. Not holding my breath!

I've just had the mid year update (2019/2020) for the UK come through on my MMI

How something like that is still a thing a customer can worry about in 2019 says a lot about Audi’s “connected” technology.

”competition” is Google maps (or Apple maps etc.) and when has anyone EVER wondered about updates to those maps LOL.

I had the message 2 days that it was available! Did you get it to download and install?
I note there is no way to confirm you want to install it and no confirmation that it is happening or even installed displayed on the screen after you have ticked the UK maps.

Well that’s good news. Still nothing on the portal for me for manual download. Hopefully this won’t be a repeat of the 2019 update where it’s only available over the MMI connection.

Yes, I opted to install it, then got a message to say that the install would happen in the background and that I can continue to use the MMI. I later got the message up to say that it had been installed.

In the US, the website is still showing 2018- 2019. Still waiting for 2019 or 2019-2020
