Default Q5e Electrical System Malfunction

I’ve had my 2021 Q5e for about a month now. Traveled out of town and plugged the car into a level 2 charger at the hotel. When we pulled out of the hotel, we were in EV mode and noticed the car would jolt around 10-15 MPH. It happened a few times. We then got an electrical system malfunction message and to stop the vehicle immediately. It was a busy road, and we got to an intersection. Tried to turn off the road, but the car just stopped and wouldn’t move. Had to turn the car off and back on just to get moving again. Hope we can make it home tomorrow so I can get it into our dealer on Monday. Has anyone else had this issue?

So the "fix" currently is to just turn the car off and on again? (fond memories from the IT Crowd )

I suppose the solution is to not "particularly dynamic corner" the Q5e to hard until they come up with a software fix which is bad for the EV milage anyway :-)

I’m more than just irked at “forthcoming solution in Q1 2022” and I don’t even own one.

A significant warranty extension and other perks for current owners better be forthcoming as well.

Had the car in with the dealer today. They had to confer with Audi technical. Since the car actually stopped and would not move until I restarted the car, they are replacing the hybrid switch. They could only find one available in the USA, so getting it shipped in. They won’t release the car until it’s swapped. Hoping to get the car back mid next week.
