Oil changes are mile or time based. They should have reset the oil change time interval to the cars in service date. (Which may or may not be when you bought it) Some dealers sometimes start the warranty clock early if it was a demo car, or sometimes audi gives them trunk money but part of that trunk money requirement is they put the car in service as a service loaner (but never actually make it a service loaner). I bought an S4 'service loaner' car once with 6 miles on the clock for like 12grand off sticker.

I’ve been using Liqui Moly Top Tec 6200, but also once bought the VW spec stuff at the dealer and while not as cheap as you found it, the price wasn’t at all bad. For some reason I have not been able to easily find the big brands’ (e.g., Mobil 1) version of the VW spec 508/509 stuff in local auto parts stores.

The "rainforest" got it....5 Qrt for $29.99 (not bad)

I mean it make sense for a light weighted oil esp on the PHEVs....I see the engine kicking off and on (as needed) and you would need a lighter oil for that purposes
