I have the pro model OBD, a 2019 SQ5 and am running the app on an Android phone.
Yes mine is very slow and has been on all my past VW's too. I have the older style device that looks like a white rectangle and I am using it with an older Samsung tablet. It has always been slow to connect initially and even slower to do a full scan. I always assumed its because its using a slow bluetooth data connection and these cars have so many modules and submodules to scan. Anytime I plan to make a coding change I expect it to take 15-20 minutes(30+ minutes for a full scan), most of that time just waiting. Make sure you have a good internet connection, I don't have great wifi or cellular data where my car is parked and it definitely seems to slow things down even more.

One thing that may help speed up the process is to turn off WiFi on your cell phone. This is a troubleshooting suggestion from OBD and it sped up my connection time a lot. A lot of WiFi networks run at 2.4 GHz which is right in the Bluetooth band area. If you are in the receive zone from some WiFi network this may help a bit.

Default g force

Activated the G-force in this section. G- force turns from red to white when Drive selection is chosen, but those numbers do not move whatsoever is the SQ5 not able to produce the g-force numbers? Or is enabling the g-force just an option as it actually doesn't produce any live data?

One note on this. When not moving the display is in RED when movement happens it turns white. So, my thought is something happens, but maybe not all the sensors are there?

I had the same results as well. No movement of the meter.

Mine is a 2018 SQ5 Prestige. But I do not have the sport package. I'm guessing this meter becomes useful with the sport package where there are some drivetrain differences and the air suspension.

I tried this in sport mode in different drive modes as well. I also tried in manual mode as well I just can’t get it to move. On the module it said it was for for the S and RS models, but who knows. Sadly I was hoping.

wait I’m confused why wouldn’t you have the sport package if you have the s badge? I’m confused on this? If you have the top line sq5 package prestige you should have all the bells with the hydraulic system too?

Anyone know how to keep wipers from stopping when the car is stopped? I really hate this when I stop at a red light in the rain and the wipers quit until I start moving again.
