Default Learning about the Q5/SQ5

Many of us are on these forums because we care about the mechanical aspects of the Audi and/or just want to take care of it and find solutions. The majority of owners (like any other model) are just driving it around and not even aware of what common issues things have.

Where do you guys learn about our engines, model, etc when you have time? Only this forum? I've recently found Naptown Tuner on his youtube channel very informative. He does a lot of work with 2.0T engines, breaking them apart and showing you different model years and changes. And not just engines, other things also.

HumbleMechanic is also a good YT channel for B8 stuff. I don't know that either channel has a lot of B9 stuff, but HM has some Gen3 relevant stuff since VW started using it here years earlier than Audi. Not to mention other forum sites as well. Pretty much whatever google search turns up, dig through it all.

Good information here. I'm a DIY junkie and engineer by trade so I like knowing how things are put together and work.
Thanks for sharing.

Also, if you haven't already, you should go to erwin.audiusa.com, pay for a day, download all the PDFs for your VIN. No reason to not have all the workshop manuals, including the wiring diagrams document, since Audi makes them available.

Also to add onto this if you look up "workshop manual" online you might find exactly what you're looking for without paying wink wink
