Exhaust Idea
I have a 2018 SQ5. Is it possible to remove the lower rear body trim under the bumper and cut out the exhaust grid,Then reinstall to make it more realistic looking ? If so, how does it get removed?

If you ever get rear-ended you will be happy that Audi switch to cosmetic tips instead of real. My wife was just rear-ended in her new Q3 and the damage didn't reach the exhaust even though the diffuser was damaged. I was rear-ended in a Porsche 944 some years ago and a minor impact went all the way to cracking the exhaust manifold. Think of the same happening to a turbocharge car.

Instead of cutting out the existing trim, i thought of just painting it black so it doesn't look so obvious. I think that its outlined in grey/silver, makes it stand-out and therefore look absurd.
