Yes, there have been several reports in this forum about the coil springs on this model year of the Q5.
My non-dealer local foreign car repair place said that, without serious abuse to the vehicle, he's never seen a coil spring break with so few miles on the car.
And he said it was obvious that the Q5 was not abused. He said he had no doubt it was a defective coil spring.

Add me to the list of leaking motor mounts...discovered during oil change the driver side is leaking. No strange vibrations, but scheduled an appt with the dealer since the car is still under warranty. The dealer should replace both, correct?

Since it is a warranty repair, there is no guarantee they will replace both. If your dealer is a "good one" they will replace both.

i don’t believe it is up to dealer to decide but for your regional Audi corporate person (they have a specific title but I forget). If they try to replace one, you should argue that when an out of warranty repair is done on the engine mounts Audi recommends switching both. In any case, the dealer doesn’t do warranty repairs for free, they back charge corporate at a special rate as far as I understand.

Add me to the list, just over 50k miles on a 2018. Quoted $2.6K (SF Bay Area also). Pretty pissed... to top it off also have a "thermostat leak" which probably means whole water pump assembly etc. quoted me $2.2K I think just for thermostat. Looking into that first, to see what's involved and if I should get the water pump replaced while they're down there. May attempt the motor mounts myself depending on how pissed I get at the situation lol.

Default 2020 S5 motor mount leaking

I guess I’m not alone. I too just had my 40k maintenance done, along with having to replace my front windshield that cracked, and was told that the passenger side motor mount is leaking hydraulic fluid. Replacement was recommended for both at $1760. I quickly asked about it being covered under warranty and was told YES. My S5 only has 44k and driven mostly in comfort mode, taking son to school and back. Funny thing is, I was told I should replace both prior to me bringing up warranty, and now that the warranty covered it, looks like they only replaced the ONE that’s leaking. Disappointed! Picking up my car tomorrow from dealer service.

Nice to have it covered under warranty. I will see what they can do, sent them and email but no response. I guess I have to call the dealers, mine doesn't seem to like email.

Default Motor Mounts

Took my Q5 in for oil change. Got a call back both motor mounts are leaking and need replaced! 2018 Q5 60k miles! $2400! Ridiculous for a low mileage, always garaged vehicle!
