Hi Everyone - my fiance cracked the screen of the climate control module in our Q5 7 days before our lease is up for return. Audi quoted me $2600 to repair it. I found the part online for $150 and was hoping to fix it myself. I've worked on cars at a hobby level for my entire life but hoping someone could offer some shortcuts on how to replace this thing. Thanks in advance!

Ah thanks so much! This is very helpful. A lot more involved than I initially anticipated but I'll give it a try. I also just learned about component protection lock so I'll need to call some dealers to see if they'll unlock the HVAC control.
