This is not a manufacturer concept, this is a UK vehicle registration concept. That Australia has the same concept should not be surprising given the UK tie. This has absolutely nothing to do with the vehicle models from the manufacturer, and even creates failure sometimes with UK people misquoting what vehicle they have.

I have placed an order for the '24 SQ5 sportback now, I'm expecting November for delivery but who knows, maybe I will get lucky and hit October.

Looks like the 2024s get remote start, I wonder if that'll be available to older models via a software update or if it's locked to the 2024s only

There are differences. Warm weather pkg is now optional instead of standard on prestige. At least on my Q5e, compared to your SQ5.
