2018 Coolant - G12Evo or G13
I found this TSB which shows a different coolants for 2018 models from newer ones.
The model year 2019 and newer vehicles use - G12evo part number: Ready to use G -12E-050-1G-DSP. Only G12evo can be used in the Audi e-tron.
The model year 2018 and older vehicles use - G13 part number: Ready to use G-A13-774-1G-DSP.
Is this REALLY saying to use G13 and not G12Evo for 2018 Audis? Finding any Audi coolant is hard enough. What do you use and if you had a 2018, which one to buy and where? ECS Tuning has G12Evo. I'd have to get G13 from Audiusa.
I know that G12Evo is newer and **should** be backward compatible. But why would the TSB specifically call for the G13 for the 2018 and earlier. And I thought that there weren't any significant changes between the 2018 and 2019 vehicles. Why would they prescribe a different coolant?

That TSB is 4 years old. They probably at that time didn't want dealerships using up G12evo in every vehicle that rolled in, while also not using G13 in vehicles the factory was now filling with G12evo. The point of G12evo is a new additives package to better protect the new soldering formulas in newest cooling system components (radiator, heat exchanger, etc). G13 was just a glycerine version of G12++.
The rev 12 of that TSB (mid Jan '22) maintained the same usage statements. But the rev 13 (end Jan '22) updated the usage statement to G12evo in everything but a specific A3 engine. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...07179-0001.pdf
And the current revision of that TSB is /14 from Mar 31 '23: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...33771-0001.pdf
