The Q5 is well loved, but there is always room for improvement. What changes/improvements would you suggest?
I would like to see
1. slightly smaller mirrors
2. more padding in the seats.
3. a built-in storage compartment for the roof rack crossbars

you guys really need to appreciate big mirrors! yes they are bigger than necessary but they fit the vehicle. i'd like the 3.0T engine and the 3.0TDI. doubt we'll get either of those over here. I can't really complain about stuff the Q5 doesn't have. It's a great vehicle.
i'd like active headlights. its nice when your headlights turn with you!

I absolutely love my Q5, but I would be seriously tempted to pull a FitzLA and trade it in on a 2011 if the following were available options without having to get the the S-Line package, go the Prestige route, or move to Canada:
1)Headlamp Washers (the only thing I really miss from my Saab)
2)Audi Advanced key
3)Heated rear seats

Over at QuattroWorld, someone posted some information for the 2011 Canadian Q5. It includes the 2.0TFSI and 3.2FSI engines, both with Tiptronic transmission. So I suspect that it will be the same for the US. I guess maybe we will get another engine later in the 2011 model year? However, it does not look like we will get anything else at least initially anyway.

1. Rear heated seats
2. Std headlight washers
3. 3.0T
4. More thigh support on the seats.
5. Trailer hitch bumper (rather than having to cut your own)

Well, Since I just bought a 2010 I don't want any changes in the 2011
I like the mirror size. I like the 3.2 engine, it moves my Q5 quicker than the larger 3.5 in my FX35 while giving me much better gas milage. Also, in 10 years I won't have to worry about an aging turbo. What I do want is the keyless entry should have been standard (my FX35 had this), and I want to be able to stream music from my iPhone over the bluetooth. In the driver screen, instead of the line with the trip computer display it would have been nice to show the current street I was on. Otherwise I am very satisfied with my Q5, the other items would be options I would not have purchased anyway.
