Default Visor Sticker Removal

I have had a no luck in using the heat approach ( hair dryer) in attenmpting to remove the stickers from the visors. Has anyone had success? If yes please advise

I don't have any stickers on my Visors, but I would usually use a heat gun instead of a Hair dryer.

Yeah cuz you didn't get the US version with all the govt mandated hey idiot stickers.

I wonder when you ship it over if they'll have to be applied?

Side note: Why do they still state 50 state emissions? I remember when CA was stricter but now I think manufacturers just follow theirs.

I don't think heat alone will remove those stickers. The newest generation are very bonded to the surface.

those are not stickers in the sense of being just stickers. they're what is called 'heat-transfers', and they are bonded/welded to the surface by heat and pressure. It's very unlikely that you will get to peel them off easily or evenly, or you have to apply so much heat that the visor itself may get damaged. I'd be careful with that 'project'. goodluck

Probably best to cover them with some sort of black vinyl type. I'm going to try to find something at home depot or maybe a crafts store.

Maybe a vinyl sticker like the sign or vehicle wrap places use?

My advice would be to order visors from a Canadian dealer that does not have the "transfers" on them and just replace your's.

Would love to but probably need a Canadian buddy to order, pick up then ship stateside.
