Howdy -
I've been playing with VagCom on my '14 Q5 TDI, and I've got some questions to see if anyone has played with four separate areas of functionality.

1) Motorway Mode for headlights - my Q5 has the Xenon headlights (prestige trim), but I'm curious if anyone has tried motorway mode - http://www.audi.com/com/brand/en/too...ilter_i_k.html

2) Lane Assist - given that my Q5 has Adaptive Cruise (which I believe works with both radar and a camera), I wonder if Lane Assist can be enabled?

3) Traffic Sign Recognition - similar to the above, if it works with the Adaptive Cruise Camera, could traffic sign recognition be turned on and functional?

4) Belt Tensioner Adjustments - Not sure if the Q5 has the automatic Belt Tensioners, but a friend can adjust belt tensioning settings in his A6. Can we do that?

1 and 3 - not supported in U.S. models
2 - Even with a hardware mod (different stalk), no one has yet successfully implemented the coding to make it work that I've read.
4 - I've not searched for it but if it's available in the A6, I would think changes could be done in any newer Audi. (Though I don't know what benefit is gained by changing it; first time I've seen anyone addressing this mod).

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll try and program motorway mode tomorrow (I had the coding jotted down from that site, just wasn't sure if it would actually do anything with the headlight package that ended up in my US-spec Q5.
