Used Q5 - Decision Pending. Advice needed
I'm just about to pull the trigger on buying a used Q5 and would like your expert advice on whether it would be a good deal or not. Location is Toronto.
So this is a Used 2014 Q5 (2.0T, Technik, S-Line with Nav) with 45,000KM mileage. CarProof (sorry about the format) is shown below. I have booked a test drive this weekend and would like to know what questions should i ask during test drive?. Will there be any concern on quebec registered vehicle selling in Toronto, Ontario.
Plan is to buy a used 2.0L Q5 and thinking about ECU tuning (REVO or STASIS) by the dealer.
Thanks you so much for your time

I would look for a CPO from an Audi Dealer so you get a warranty. You pay more but that piece of mind is worth it in my opinion. These cars cost a lot to fix.

I wouldn't let the damage report scare you to much. A lot of used cars have them now. Just make sure to see if everything is straight. Might have just been a bumper cover and reliant, no big deal.

I wouldn't let the damage report put you off too much. However, one aspect you mentioned was the want to tweak/tune the ECU. You may still be under the factory warranty and if you were to do that, you could face a TD1 and not be eligible for warranty protection...just be aware of that before you decide to do it. FWIW, as soon as my dad's 3.0T goes out of warranty, I'll probably get him an APR Stage 1, so he'll run like a SQ5

I understand CPO is the best option as im very happy with my current CPO BMW 3 series. But there are not many CPO Q5's out there which satisfy my conditions (Black color with Premium NAV under CAD 40K).

Have CAA or an Audi dealer do a thorough vehicle inspection. As other posters have mentioned, don't be too concerned about it having damage. As long as it was not major and the damage was repaired, it should not be an issue. A lot of cars have damaged status in their report but it could only be something that is less than $2000 which is considered minor for an Audi.
