On the basis we only have data from on US and one Canadian nothing is confirmed here.
Looks like maybe Canada keeps the euro spec drop and US does not so far.
Would be nice to get 2 or 3 more cars to be sure.

Officially, there are two types of suspension shock absorbers to be installed in SQ5:
You can check it in your service book which model is fitted to your vehicle
-1BT
-2MT

I'm comparing US SQ5 to US Q5. We were told the SQ5 has no drop and the 1.2" drop that was advertised in earlier literature was a mistake. But it seems there actually is a 1.2" drop between the SQ5 and the regular Q5. Thunderdent's Q5 is lowered aftermarket, but he posted his OEM wheel gap before he put on his coilovers.

Plus, we're not even sure if the pictures above are from Canada or US. Can SQ5 owners also post their location (CA, US, EU) and also the 3-digit code from the service book that spijun is referring to?

First poster shows ~4 inches and looks to be US based. So I would say no drop compared to Q5.
Second poster is from Canada and does appear to have a drop...
