Suggestion - 2014 Audi Q5 MPG
#11
900 miles on my 2015 Q5 TDI. 278 mile trip on Interstate(65 to 75mph) and some mixed driving - 35.4mpg.

got a 2013 2.0T a month ago, just filled up the 2nd time a couple days ago and got 350 miles to the tank, calculated at 20mpg, computer showed 22mpg. Dissapointing to say the least, seeing as how my 10 mile commute is 9 miles on the freeway. Gets worse mileage than my 97 12v a4.

That 20-22mpg might not be too bad. The 2.0t is rated at 20 city/28 highway/23 combined so depending on traffic conditions, winter gas, cold weather? and most importantly driving style it's in the ballpark.
It would be nice if we could squeeze a few more mpg's out of the 2.0t especially in stop and go conditions.

The best mileage we've had so far was last summer. It was a strictly highway trip, through the mountains. Our average speed was only about 100 kph, but it was up and down through the mountains, sometimes at 80 kph, then up to 125 kph going uphill in the passing lane to pass slower vehicles. Our calculated mileage was 35.5 mpg (U.K.). I guess that would be around 30 mpg U.S.. I was quite impressed with the mileage. I find that the 3.0T has so much torque that I very rarely have to take it over 3,000 rpm to pass someone. I'm sure that contributes to the mileage. We've exceeded the highway mpg by around 12%.

I'm getting an average of 19mpg (calculated) mixed which isn't bad. In Metro Vancouver it's basically city driving and semi-spirited. The best I got was 25 from Vancouver to Portland which was all highway. I find the 2.0T mpg a bit disappointing. Especially hearing what 3.0T and TDI drivers are getting. Maybe I should have ponied up and gotten the 3.0T or TDI. =(

Got 25.5 mpg on a 450 mile round trip to GSDNP averaging around 75 mph, did it on one tank too, pretty impressed with the SQ5, that's better then I could do with my X5 35i and as good as my wife's Tiguan.

My wife gets 22-23 MPG weekly with 16,500 miles on the odometer.
One way to work is, 8 miles of 45 mph with signal lights and 8 miles of 70 mph+ highway.
On our road trips home, 5+ hours highway at 75 mph, it only improves to 23-24 mpg.
