springs or sways?
I have a 2014 SQ5 and find the ride decent even on 21's but find the handling a disappointment. I know, I know it's a CUV not a sweden but my old BMW X3 felt much more car like. I guess my main complaint is lean when turning. Would changing to H&R -1s improve that much, or are replacing with Eurocode sways the better way to go. I supposed either has not much effect on ride over stock. I don;t car whether I lower the vehicle much if at all. Thanks for any input.

The sways you can do pretty quick, 20 mins for the front, 30 mins for the back as you have to remove at least one wheel if you don't want to drop the exhaust.
To do the springs, you are probably looking at 3 - 4 hours or so, plus you will need an alignment afterwards. You will have to drop the subframe in the rear to get the coils out. The work is really mutually exclusive doing the the springs won't save you any time over doing the swaybars or vise versa. If your budget only allows one, start with the sways (cheaper overall), then move to the springs if you are still not happy.
