Default Rear wiper delete???

Has anyone deleted the rear wiper on their SQ5/Q5? I don't drive this vehicle in the winter, and not much in the rain. I would think it would look better without the rear wiper and it would keep dust from collecting there too. Has anyone done this? Is there a delete kit that provides a cap to cover the bolt? Any pictures?

First I've heard of anyone wanting to do such a modification.

Wow that's a great idea (seriously)

How about deleting the front ones too! (sarcasm)

A friend of mine owns a rare yellow 1969 Camaro ZL1 bigblock and he did just that. He caries ONE wiper arm/blade in the trunk JIC he's caught in the rain (never happened).

That's what made me think of it...I was in the Mustang scene since I got my driver's license. We would always install a wiper-delete kit. AND carry one around just in case :-)
Although those days are gone, I thought maybe a rear-wiper delete would make the vehicle look at a little cleaner. I never use a rear wiper anyhow as over time it leaves a path on the glass. I just wash the window when it's gotten dirty.

Do you have to disable the mechanism or just remove wipers and fill hole with plug?

Just fill the hole with the plug. If it gets activated, it will still rotate, but it won't hurt anything. If it happens on accident too much for your liking, it would be disabled I suppose.

nothing will rotate, the wiper and motor are removed. You should plug the wiper spray line so you don't accidentally get windshield wiper fluid in the hatch.
