Default Rear brake wear indicator?

I have a 2013 Q5. Lately I have my brake light indicator flickering on while driving. I just changed front brake pads 30k miles ago and still have alot of life left. The rear looks like they are in need of change soon.

Do the rear brakes have a wear sensor on them?

Not in the rear. Perhaps your front sensor cable is grounding (causing false signal). You would need to check routing of cable.

Exactly what dash light is flickering?

Did you check your brake fluid level in the master cylinder?
