lol, I like your response. Very true. When driving my wife's Q it amazes me how quiet and effortless this car is to drive. Throw on some Sirius radio over the b&o and you can almost decompress. Wish they weren't so darn expensive to fix when something does go awry. I suppose that's the price to pay for fine engineering.

Geez, guys. This was a very simple question.

I know it's not a "sports car" (whatever you think that means), and that the stock configuration is good for this type of vehicle, and that there is no enormous need to mess with the Germans. You don't need "special equipment": you need a clear road and a Q5 and a digital stopwatch or whatever. The point is what one sees without special anything, not some scientific exposé. I was looking for some general, comparative info.

If what I am hearing is that no one has been interested in finding an empty patch of road and seeing what it takes to get to 60 for the sake of interest, so be it. I didn't think it was that weird a question, and I certainly didn't expect useless off-base commentary that included reference to racial injustice from 300 years ago. That, I am compelled to say, was just stupid.

Have a good weekend, folks.

Speedometers aren't that accurate, and incorrect data is much worse than no data.

I've always found Car & Driver to be consistent.
