I got 29.5 mpg over 48 miles at an average of 54mph in heavy traffic (101/405 in Los Angeles).

Overall mileage since new (5,000 miles) in mainly urban driving I have 23.6mpg.

I was quite amazed at what that 2.0t motor can do.

It wasn't all stop and go - maybe 2 or 3 hours out of the eight.

RAIN........We've had almost 30 days of 100+ degree temps....I've almost forgotten how my Q5 performed when it rained! I've had it a couple of months and it has only rained a couple of times here....HOT!
