Default Q5 key memory not activated?

It's a pre-owned 2011 Q5 3.2 PP.
I was playing with its seat settings and found out when I go to Car->Seat...->Seat Prof. The screen says 'key memory is not activated.'

what does that mean? How can I activate it?

I did read that thread before posting my question.

I have no problem with storing seat settings to the buttons on the door.
My problem is "key memory is not activated". Is this an optional feature?

Anyone has a premium Q5 has done this successfully?

thanks.

Which key is number 1 and which is number 2? How can I tell. When I turn off and lock with one particular key the mirrors spin up, but I have no idea how to make the other key spin the mirrors for parking.

I don't have my Q5 yet, but doesn't the owner's manual explain how the keys and driver's memory function work?

It probably does but my cats ate my manual.
I haven't been able to find my manual in some time.
I know, first rule is to not lose the manual. So I need a little help once in a while.

this problem is gone. I don't know how. MMI shows the feature is on. No more 'not activated' messages.

I feel it's like the mirrors. sometimes they can automatically tilted when you lock the car. sometimes not. I just couldn't figure out the rules behind this.
