Default Q5 for ED

I just pulled the trigger and ordered a Q5 for ED. I will pick it up the last week of May. The plan is to tour the Rhone river valley and drop the Q5 off for shipping back to California in Nice France.

Just curious, how did you do on price? Is there any negotiation with ED? I'm looking to do the same in late September for the 2013 model. I'm just crossing my fingers that the timing of it all goes right, while trying to plan this ED with our honeymoon in Europe. Thanks.

An associate of mine did an ED on a BMW 335 during his honeymoon and was so enchanted with the car that his new wife felt a little left out.

When he got back home he had the car, but his wife decided that this is not for her

YIKES!!! I know my fiance has been joking with me that I'm more excited about the upcoming honeymoon and ED than our actual wedding. Sorry GUILTY AS CHARGED. Hahah but it's okay, cuz in reality, she's also just as excited about the trip. It's our first time to Europe.

Audi offers 5% off the MSRP for ED on most models.

Right, I knew about the 5% off the MSRP, but I guess it's all to the discretion of the dealership. Some have mentioned getting less than 5% and others getting more than 5%, so I was just curious about your experience. Thanks.

My dealer gave me the 5%. I live in Paso Robles, went to Monteray to buy, no local dealer.

Same here. Got 5% off MSRP on the whole package. Picking up the car on March 30th in Germany. Can't wait!

When you say, "the whole package", is that 5% off the original list price, or after discounts and incentives? For example, if you take the $1,500 loyalty and you paid $750 above invoice, was the 5% after the loyalty was deducted and the discount, or before?

Makes quite a difference, especially considering ED used to be 7%.

Congrats on your ED you will enjoy it, I did a factory pickup this past summer. I went to Neckarsulm to pick up my Q5 though since its only an hour from my house. Here is my review and pictures from my pick-up.
