Puddle lights
Hi all, just ordered new 2016 SQ5 today. However, when I visited a differed dealer previously he showed me puddle lights that projected the Audi 4 rings on the ground when the doors were opened. The dealer where I actually ordered from never heard of this. Anyone see this before? Ordered Premium Plus in Daytona grey pearl, layered alum black inlays, tech pkg, Napa with diamond stitch, black optic, red calipers. 3 months and counting.

Sir,
Really easy to install. You will need a trim removal tool or maybe a flat tipped screwdriver. I used the trim removal tool. I think it took me about 20 minutes, but I also put the passenger side in upside down and had to redo it. So when installing them make sure you orient them correctly the first time.
Also, a few more things you need to know.
1.) shop around and find the logos you want...I just sent you a link the first set I found on ebay.
2.) Make sure you get the correct ones. They will be a complete light housing like this.
Not one like this...these require drilling holes and tap into existing wiring.
3.) Try and get a LED set...my wife's 2014 had factory LED lights in the door. This way you don't have any warning lights or codes.
4.) If you didn't catch it the first time...orient the lights correctly the first time. You can also adjust the focus on most as well. For me, it is all about the personal touches and details.

P.S. Will try and post a couple picture tonight if the ICE storm doesn't get me first.

Driver side.
Passenger side.
I bought some of these puddle lights as well and the problem I’m having is with the passenger door. The light can only be put in one way since if I place it in the other way it won’t fit inside because of some part of the door that’s there. So in result this causes the puddle light to appear upside down. Is there any way I can 180 the actual bulb or light so it shows the correct way? Attached are pictures showing how it appears on the driver side and upside down on the passenger side.

It looks like the film was placed over the LED rotated 180°. Since yours' projects the old logo they're clearly cheap Chinese replacements. Take it apart and see if you can rotate the film otherwise I'd just spend the 8 bucks and get a new set HERE.
My rear doors project the old logo as well and they're both oriented correctly. Luck of the draw I guess.
Here's a US guy selling current logo lights for a mere $10
