As the article implies, to me it reads like a bad classic SNL news skit. Oops, never mind. Oops we are so precise in everything, yet here we mumble about maybe just rounding error, and we were initially reporting a worst case scenario. And even after all that never mind and numbers shuffling, forest and trees to me. VW/Audi are missing that they are looking like fools in being straight and transparent, let alone having a good handle on what is really going on. Just like an SNL news report...
Story also gets at some of the recent exec. shuffling in Germany, a pending update tomorrow (Thurs.), presumably Euro business hours, and the delta between their easier compromised regulatory oversight in Europe vs. much more problematic in U.S.
