Only 2 annoyances so far. Any fix?
1) Bluetooth streaming connects and defaults to play when starting car. I don't always want it to just start playing when I get in. Is there a way to default the playback to require the play button be pushed?
2) LOUD beeping when the door is open and car is running. My word it is so damn annoying. I think this occurs at other times too but I can't recall. Can this be disabled or at least turned down? Ugh it's so bad.

Ditto..... but I just read another post where the loud beep can be disable via code using the cable connection. I am investing in one just to get rid of the noise....
Enjoy,
Enjoy,

One of the few things I remember our salesman showing us is how to temporarily turn that off. All you need to do is hit the reset button on the bottom of the DIS stalk

Thanks for that, but I'm asking for the actual coding that will disable the door open beeping in a 2014 Q5/SQ5? Do you know where that is? Giving me a list of a bunch of threads that I've looked through doesn't help me. I'm sure it helps others, but I'm really only interested in finding the coding that WILL disable this specific beeping in a 2014 model, since that is what the OP is asking for as well.
Oh, and many of the links you posted don't work for me, as they are shortened not only in how they display, but the pages they link to.

A quick fix to quiet the beeping is to hit the reset button on the bottom of the windshield wiper stalk once or twice and it will shut up.
